3D Locations was founded in 2001 to fill a void in marketing film and event locations.

3D Locations represents and consults for clients eager to increase film and special event revenue at their properties. We’ve worked with commercial and residential owners, hotel and rental properties; municipalities and their managed land assets. Our company is run by experienced location managers with strategic relationships throughout the location and special event community.

We provide our clients with a “VRT SCOUT” virtual tour, the most effective way to display and promote property assets. For film location and special event professionals they are indispensable tools.

Unlike limited advertising in showcase books or direct-mail postcards, the VRT SCOUT includes all pertinent information needed by a location scout. By making it easier to view the property and answer all related questions in advance, the scout is incentivized to include the property as a candidate for their next production.

Our VRT Scout virtual tours are web cloud based and replace marketing brochures used by special event or sales personnel.

The VRT SCOUT consists of 360º photos of the property, still photos, floor plans, property dimensions, maps to and from premises, filming permit information, public use permit information, parking information, safety information, property history, archival photographs, blueprints, property film resume, location manager check-lists, and property highlights and features. Any or all of this information can be changed or updated as needed.

After VRT Scout production, 3D Locations provides clients with an array of aggressive marketing plans to insure top location and special event professionals have the property at their fingertips. These include direct mail, e-mail, web hosting, press releases, promotional parties, and trade shows.
