Edward Mazurek is an entertainment industry manager with a 24-year production career immersed in film, television and media locations.

He has researched, found and secured locations on more than 75 feature films, television shows, commercials, and music videos for entertainment leaders such as Sony Pictures, HBO, Columbia Pictures, 20th Century Fox, Paramount Pictures, Universal Studios, NBC Productions, Warner Brothers, and DreamWorks.

Edward coordinates property owners, municipalities and government agencies with film company activity; arranging and securing necessary permission, contracts, insurance, and permits.  He is directly responsible for all film company activity on location and regularly manages annual budgets over $8m.

In 2002, Edward co-founded the first virtual tour film location scouting service.  He established proprietary internet-based platforms to promote filming at some of the most unique, high-profile real estate in Los Angeles and fostered distribution relationships with dozens of film commissions and libraries.  This work helped pioneer digital film location marketing to scouts around the world.

In 2014, Edward began working with Tahiti Tourisme of North America and the government of French Polynesia to increase filming and production on the islands.

In 2015, Edward developed, wrote and produced a slate of television commercials for AIG, the world’s largest insurance company.

In 2016, Edward and his location team won the independent feature California On Location Award for "The Circle", the 2017 film staring Emma Watson and Tom Hanks.

Mr. Mazurek was named to the panel advising former Los Angeles Mayor Richard Riordan, the Los Angeles City Council, and the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors, in partnership with the motion picture production industry, to merge the city and county film offices and create the Entertainment Industry Development Corporation (EIDC), later FilmLA.

Edward Mazurek is a graduate of UCLA.
